There will be some Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare new ‘Royalty’ weapons and SAC3 variants coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC very soon! Unfortunately there has been no mention of whether these are coming to Xbox One and PS4 too, however we know that these special weapons will be landing on Xbox One first.
On the 19th May, these weapon will have come out on Xbox One and are expected to arrive on PS4 and PC roughly a month later. However, what you’re most interested in is what these new ‘Royalty’ weapons and SAC3 variants actually are…
What are These ‘Royalty’ Weapons?
Many of you will be familiar with royalty camos and royalty armour; these royalty weapons will look pretty much just like the royalty armour that you may have unlocked in supply drops by now.
However, the look of these weapons is definitely not the only attribute they have; they are going to be 1 tier above ‘Elite’ weapons, meaning that they should be even better than elite weapons!
Sledgehammer have revealed that ‘in the first wave’ of royalty weapons (suggesting that there will be more), will include all of the weapons in the image below.
As you can see, in this ‘first wave’ of royalty weapons, there will be a variant of the: Bal-27, HBRa3, ASM1, Tac-19, Ameli, AK12, KF5, Mors, Pytaek and M1 Irons, but there will also be a variant of the SAC3 and S12 in the first wave too.
I’m sure most of you are most excited about the likes of the Bal-27 and AK12 variants, as their elite variants are insanely good already, so it will be very interesting to see how the royalty variants of these turn out, because how can they really be made any better without them being over-powered?
There alleged stats are to be as the image below displays, however please keep in mind that these stats may be subject to change.
If you had a brief look at the table, you may have noticed that a lot of them seem to be very similar to one of their elite variants. For example, the royalty AK12 variant is exactly the same as the Finger Trap variant – does this suggest that royalty weapons are going to be just like elite weapons but look cooler?
Is the source of information unreliable? Or do Sledgehammer have a surprise up their sleeve that will make royalty weapons even better than elite weapons? We’ll have to wait and see.
The Six New Non-Akimbo SAC3 Variants
Some of you may have seen the ‘SAC3’ in the table and noticed that it says that it will have a pre-installed red-dot sight; this may have confused some of you, as for those of you that don’t know, the SAC3 as we currently know it, is an akimbo-only weapon and therefore no sights can be added to it.
However, as well as royalty weapons being introduced, six new non-akimbo SAC3 variants are coming along too, also being released on 19th May on Xbox One.
We can assume that some of the variants above are also Enlisted, Professional and Elite, but it doesn’t specifically tell us which variants are which. Personally, the look of the SAC3 reminds me very much so of the Vector from Call of Duty: Ghosts, which is a very good weapon. Let’s hope the new SAC3 will be too!
